Application Developer

In this position the Applications Developer will design, test, resolve defects in the computer's operation system, maintain, and document components of information systems applications. Our Application Developer will outline user requirements, procedures, and processes to enhance performance effectiveness.

Job Description



Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, code, test, and implement complicated programs
  • Collaborate with the team on conceptualizing and the development of new programs and applications
  • Develop technical design specifications based on functional requirements
  • Create and oversee systems while leveraging and expanding system capabilities
  • Conduct decision support systems tests, executes testing plans and correct errors
  • Participate in system development planning and monitoring, improve existing systems, and assist in technical reviews
  • Provide support for the processing cycles of production systems; may be required to give offsite support
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to assigned programs and systems, and participates in code reviews



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of direct experience in the IT field
  • Experience in programming languages and development tools
  • Strong understanding of database development and design
  •  Extensive knowledge of Software product strategy & life cycle management
  • Ability to communicate technical terms and concepts with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams
  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
