The Sourcing Leader is responsible for the effective procurement of all assigned sourcing needs. In this role you will prioritize business unit requirements by striving to purchase at the lowest possible overall cost, consistent with desired quality and delivery.

Job Responsibilities include:
  • Identify reliable sources of supply that meet delivery needs and price competitiveness
  • Obtain supplier quotations for customer quotations
  • Manage purchase orders from placement to reconciliation
  • Negotiate with vendors to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms, etc., in conjunction with contract construction
  • Analyze complex purchase requisitions and monitor effectiveness of purchasing strategies; initiates improvements as necessary
  • Develop, align, and drive strategic projects to improve procurement processes, tools, and efficiencies
  • Provide assistance to departments in preparing specifications for all procurement activities
  • Lead sourcing and contracting events across multiple business units and affiliated companies
  • Provide customer assistance and training to co-workers for any system or process sponsored by the procurement department
  • Ability to travel
  • Provide annual and quarterly level demand forecasts to external manufacturer
  • Hold quarterly business reviews with suppliers



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or a related field
  • Ability to work in a metrics-driven, fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 15-20%
