Use critical thinking skills to make clear decisions and act as a leader to assist the team in carrying out projects
Meet with management to assess proposed projects and establish specific budgets, time and resource allotments, and determine procedures necessary to carry out each project
Develop quality assurance test plans, status reports, and MS project schedule
Make certain project is ready for governance gate approvals
Respond and adapt to adjustments from original guidelines
Motivate, guide, and assign responsibilities to team members throughout the duration of each project
Consult with other project managers when necessary
Have a thorough understanding of business objectives in order to transfer to delivery plans
Recognize the advantage of leveraged applications
Consult with stakeholders to gain a mutual understanding of project procedures and budgets
Bachelor’s degree in CS, BA, Engineering, or a similar degree with an IT focus
5-10 years business experience and broad-base information systems
Strong leadership and management skills and an ability to oversee the simultaneous execution of multiple projects while supervising sub workgroups within projects
2+ years of business unit experience
Effective critical thinking skills and a strong desire to grow and learn
Solid oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills & Experience (Not Required)
PMI Project Management Certification
Prior experience in creating, recording, and presenting solutions to senior management
