Our client company is looking for someone who is highly motivated and who proudly stands behind the work that they do. In this role, you will create master production schedules, continually brainstorm improvements for process effectiveness, offer reporting on Supply Chain Analytics, and collaborate with management and sales teams.
Several years of experience in this field is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. Our client company is more focused on you having the skills to succeed than if you have a degree or not. It is important that you are proficient in MS Office with an emphasis in Excel and are detail oriented as well as highly organized.
Essential Job Functions
Creates the master production schedule to meet inventory goals and customer requirements according to sales forecasts and/or customer orders
Is responsible for development of Plans, schedules and prioritizes production according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times
We be the primary person who communicates with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues
Has a demonstrated track record of the principals and applications of demand forecasting, reviews historical demand data and updates forecasts accordingly
Accountable to Lead, and participate in problem solving events and continuous improvements projects to improve process effectiveness, efficiency and performance
Is the key liason who distributes production schedules to the required management or departments
Effectively communicates with staff on availability, delays, interruptions, difficulties and reprioritization
Accountable for Revisions and distributribution of production schedules as necessary due to labor or material shortages, backlogs, etc. collaborating with sales and management
Will provide data and Meet with forecasting team quarterly to discuss long-term forecasts and changes.
Has a demonstrated track record of reporting on various analytics of Supply Chain
